The Historical Society of Perry County is proud to announce the generous support of three community-minded organizations whose contributions will directly support ongoing restoration and preservation efforts at the historic Cochran-Anspach House in Millerstown.

R.E. Smith and Son, Inc. contributed $1,000, the Perry Valley Grange donated $500, and the Millerstown Moose Lodge presented a gift of $1,500-totaling $3,000 in community investment. These funds will be used to enhance the food preparation areas of the home, ensuring the continued success of the Society’s popular annual dinner fundraisers.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of these generous sponsors,” said a Society representative. “Their contributions will allow us to improve our facilities and create an even better experience for guests who attend our events in support of historic preservation.”

The Cochran-Anspach House, known for its charming Victorian character and rich local history, has become a centerpiece of the Society’s community engagement and fundraising efforts. With the help of dedicated donors like these, the Historical Society is able to preserve the property for future generations to learn from and enjoy.
